A Powerful March Edition of Worship, Prayer and Encounter Night.
On the night of March 28, 2025, at 10:00 pm, our church (CAC Living Sanctuary) hosted the live transforming Mighty God Night, a special program dedicated to worship, prayer, seasoned word and spiritual renewal. This event brought together members of our community both far and near for an unforgettable night focused on encountering the mighty hand of God and seeking His presence. The theme for the March edition was “High and Mighty Hand.”
A Night of Divine Worship and Prayer
The Mighty God Night was marked by heartfelt worship led by the Rhema voices of CAC Living Sanctuary, with songs glorifying God as the “Mighty God” and the “Prayer answering One.” This was portrayed in a song about how He answered Prophet Elijah on Mount Carmel by fire as opposed to Baal’s inability to answer his prophets even though they raised their cry to the point of cutting themselves. The atmosphere was charged with praise and reverence, as the congregation lifted their voices in harmony and unity, declaring God’s power and majesty. The worship session included praises and thanksgiving invoking the Holy Spirit to renew and strengthen the hearts of everyone, with calls for divine guidance, wisdom, and empowerment to stand firm in faith.
There was an outpouring of God’s grace and power as different ministers of God led us in powerful prayer sessions. The prayer sessions were as intense as the congregation prayed fervently and effectually. Another powerful session was through the ministration of the drama team. They communicated through drama, a power-filled message of how Samson was captured and God still came through for him. This led the whole congregation again into another level of prayers.
Spiritual Teachings and Encouragement
During the program, participants engaged in deep spiritual reflection and prayer. The theme, “High and Mighty Hand” drawing from Psalm 89:13 (“You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand”) and 1 Samuel 2:6-7 (“The Lord kills and makes alive… He brings low and lifts up”). Convener and Senior Pastor Gospel Remi Adeyemi led the congregation into a transformative exploration of God’s dual power as both a Judge and Redeemer. This ushered in an altar call which led many to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Afterwards, many who were sick were prayed for and the healing power of God went into the midst of the people, and healed as many from their sickness and long-time illness.
Community Impact, Fellowship and Deliverance
The Mighty God Night was not only a time for individual spiritual growth but also a moment of community bonding. The shared experience of worship and prayer fostered a strong sense of unity and encouragement among attendees. Many testified to feeling renewed strength and hope, inspired by the powerful presence of God throughout the night. Others testified of how God brought them out of long-term issues.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the success of the March edition of the Mighty God Night, we look forward to another power-filled gathering in the month of May, where we will continue to seek God’s face and experience His mighty power in our lives in a dimension that is different. The event has set a high standard for worship and spiritual engagement, inviting everyone to come with expectant hearts for the next edition of The Mighty God Night, which will take place on the 30th of May, 2025.
